Jorsh Muntz was born into a Tabaxi family, Her father a well known blacksmith and her mother working as a pharmasist. Her early years were memorable as pleasant, always getting along with her twin sister, they always played paddy cake. One day after her father got robbed of all his metal and money he got brutally alcoholic and behind closed doors, her father was an abusive cunt who imposed his cruelty upon his family. Jorsh’s torn up fur and mismatched yellow eyes, became symbols of her family’s dark secrets and her own internal struggle.
When Jorsh was 14, the abuse reached a breaking point. On Easter morning, her mother and twin sister left without a trace, leaving Jorsh behind with her father. When she was 15, one particular night, the abuse escalated to a point where a primal instinct to protect herself boiled up, and Jorsh confronted her father with a dagger. His death was an act of self-defense and desperation that left her spirit scarred. During the trials for the event, she was exiled to a remote lighthouse in the middle of the ocean on an island just big enough to need a lighthouse, for 5 years. She kept her father's glass eye made of quartz.
The lighthouse, isolated from civilization, became Jorsh’s prison and sanctuary. With no one but the elements for company, she immersed herself in the study of necromancy using the pages of arcane lore she had traded from fishing boats. The lighthouse's solitude provided the perfect environment for her to delve deeply into the dark arts, forging a pact with a sinister patron who offered her power in exchange for her service.
During her five-year exile, Jorsh developed into a formidable Necromancer and Warlock. Her skills in necromancy were honed alongside a broad range of other talents. The isolation forced her to rely on her wits, making her proficient in investigation. Her time alone also allowed her to study various fields, including medicine and religion (sourced from books off fishing boats), as she sought ways to heal herself and understand her role in the cosmic struggle she had become a part of.
At age 20, Jorsh was released from her lighthouse exile. Now free, she explored the wider world, her demeanor markedly changed by her years of isolation and study. She became a bit strange to converse with, often fixating on those she found intriguing and following them with a blend of curiosity and opportunism. Her social skills, combined with her charismatic presence, allowed her to navigate various situations with a blend of charm and intimidation, as well as picking up a thing or two from the people she’d meet.
Jorsh’s proficiency in a broad spectrum of skills reflects her diverse experiences and her need to adapt to the world beyond the lighthouse. Her knowledge of necromancy and warlock magic is formidable, but her odd behavior and peculiar interests make her a complex figure. She approaches life with a mix of arrogance and caution, driven by the unresolved trauma of her past and the dark promises of her patron.
Now a seasoned level 7 Necromancer and level 1 Warlock. Her journey is motivated by a quest for self-discovery and curiosity for things she hasn’t experienced or seen and a desire to make sense of the world that has both shaped and scarred her. The quartz glass eye remains a potent symbol of her past, and her broad skill set makes her an unpredictable and powerful force.
